In this module of steel structure engineering, you will understand in detail - The stability of the structure. What are the different configurations to make the 3D structure stable about all axes. This is applicable for Oil & Gas Industries, Power Plant Industries, Manufacturing Sheds and other various Industrial Structures.

We need to understand, specially for Horizontal loads, which bracings will be in compression and which one in tension. In this module of steel structure course, you will get an actual feel of these forces as this is demonstrated with unique props.

In this module, you will get an idea about What is the difference between bending and buckling and how does it affect the design steps of different members?

This is very important aspect of Steel Structure Design. Also this helps to clear the interference issues with other disciplines. For eg. There is pipe interfering with Bracing, whether can we relocate the bracing or not, what will be effect on foundation design and so on. Many engineers struggle on this topic even after years of experience. In this module, this complicated topic is covered with demonstration through unique learning models.

We need to decide the column orientation depending on various factors. Also we need to decide on – where to put which type of connection. Small error in this concept, can cause the total failure of the structure.

The load transfer mainly depends on above parameters. Without knowing these conceptually / thoroughly, one can not be good Steel Structure Engineer.

In this module, you will learn identifying axes for different shapes of cross sections.

In this module, we will learn how force transfer concept works. For eg. There is a horizontal load at any point, so, from which bracing, from which beam, from which connection, from which column it will transfer and finally it will reach to which foundation. This understanding will help us in optimized layout of structures.

In this module, we will extend the learning of above module for various Industrial Steel Structures like Pipe racks, Technological Structures, Oil & Gas Structures, Power Plant Structures, Sheds, Foot Bridges, etc.

Affecting parameters for Column orientation when bracings are in both planes, is completely different. In this module, you will the get knowledge on that.

What will be the optimized pattern of Truss in Pipe bridges, foot bridges, roof trusses etc specially for Industrial structures including Oil & Gas Industries, Power Sectors and others. In the current module, we will focus on the same.

Similarly, What will be the optimized pattern for vertical bracings and plan bracings in Steel structures specially for Industrial structures including Oil & Gas Industries, Power Sectors and others. In the current module, we will now focus on that.

Whether bracing location or bracing pattern or bracing bay can be changed if foundation is already designed. Many of such practical frequent issues will be covered in this module. This type of issues are quite common in Oil & Gas Industries, Power Plant structues, material handling plants etc.

In this module, You will learn various concepts of Effective lengths about major axis, minor axis, effective lengths for Buckling and Torsional Buckling etc.

After learning all above concepts, it’s time to design the member. In this module, you will learn preliminary concepts of steel structure design.

You must know various project documents, types of 3d models, who prepare them, at what stage they will be made, what do they contain. Detailed Answer to all these queries will be provided in this module.

Of course, this course is not for the sake of getting one certificate, but this is to transform the understanding, to get the feel of structural engineering, to transform the career.

Hence, All the above learnings have to be accompanied by various prototype models, mola models, wooden models, foam models etc. to grasp the understanding in a unique and excellent way.

Minimum qualification for this course is B.E. Civil. You can also undergo this course parallel to B.E. education. But you must have completed 3rd year of B.E. Civil.

Currently, there is a high demand for Structural Engineers in Canada, the Gulf, Australia, New Zealand, and the USA. You should complete the first five courses if you plan to settle abroad.

Yes. Crash or fast-track courses are conducted 2–3 times a year. For example, the Steel Structures module (normally 10 days) is completed in 3 days in the crash format. The combined duration for RCC, STAAD, and Expert courses is 10 days in total.

There are many PGs, hostels, and guest houses within 2–3 km of the institute. Our team can assist you. Accommodation starts at around ₹3,000 per month, depending on facilities.

Yes. It will greatly help in campus placements. You’ll need to pay the course fees as mentioned in the brochure, and you’ll receive an additional Internship Certificate valid in all universities and colleges.

You can start with any of the first three courses — Steel, RCC, or STAAD. After completing all three, you’ll be eligible for Course 4 (Expert Course). You cannot start directly with Course 4.

You can register in advance or after the first session by paying ₹2,000 per course. The first installment (half the fee) is due midway through the course, and the remaining amount is payable at the end.

If you plan to buy one, a basic configuration (i5-2.30 GHz processor, Windows 10, 8 GB RAM) is sufficient. Pre-owned laptops with this configuration are available for under ₹20,000.
